When a puck sets a memory
It was the first Utah Mammoth home game of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
And for a couple of young fans, it was their first game—ever.
If you’re a brand, this is the opportunity: Not just to host an event, but to recognize what's happening inside it. For those fans, it was commemorated by a puck with their name and "1st Mammoth Game" handwritten as they looked on.
Connection over marketing. Memory over merchandise.
Inside the Delta Center, that’s what’s happening. More here on how the connection is being built: Story: At Delta Center, 'everything is about experience'
Some brand questions worth sitting with from Chris Armstrong, Utah’s president of hockey operations:
“The center of everything is:
• How do we make people feel?
• What experience are we providing?
• Are we able to bring some positivity into their lives?
• Are we able to make them feel better than when they arrived?”

When a signature finally works for you

Her signature wasn't bad. It just wasn't working for her.
Dawn came to the workshop wanting to feel confident finishing her artwork, not second-guessing whether a casual mark might undercut what she'd created.
Through Own Your Signature, she built a foundation of style and presence, then layered in personality and polish. She left with a signature that feels as refined as her work—equally at home on a canvas, a print, or her personal brand.

Artists aren't the only ones who come away having claimed a piece of themselves.
Comments from others:
"It was fun to learn about different styles and ideas to make my signature stand out."
"It's easy and not stressful. I felt very guided and not rushed."
"Great for anyone, regardless of profession or skill."

When a box of chocolates became a birth announcement
It was February and the young couple asked me to write 'September.'
“Of course,” I said. “What’s happening in September?”
They smiled:
“It’s when our first baby is due. We’ll use this to announce it on Instagram.”
And just like that, a simple touchpoint became part of a milestone moment.
If you’re a brand, it doesn’t get much better than this:
Your logo woven into someone’s biggest news — not because you bought their attention, but because you earned a place in their story.
That’s the power of a personal touch:
Moments > impressions
Emotion > transactions
Connection > clutter
You never know when something you create will become a keepsake and make waves on socials.

When a luggage tag starts a collaboration
Remote employees from around the country gathered at the welcome dinner, surrounded by flickering candles and acoustic guitar. While several people stayed close to observe live lettering — "Wait, you're doing these by hand?!" — they also talked with each other.
That's how I overheard conversations among co-workers about what their initials stand for, the origins of their names, their family history. It led into other discussions about purpose and goals. One conversation ended with, 'Let's work on that together.'
Sometimes, even a simple experience can serve as a bridge. And a launchpad.
Video note: The guest requesting his initials AAA said his parents just wanted to give him a jump start in life!
